One of the 22 sidra (cider) varieties officially approved by The Regulatory Council of Origin Cider of Asturias in Northwestern Spain. Hard and granular flesh is juicy, tart and astringent (acidity 0.80%, tannin 0.10%). Medium-to-large conical fruit is greenish yellow with a russeted stem cavity.
Upright vigorous trees are productive and fairly disease resistant. Late season bloomer. Zone 4.
