Maine Agricultural Trade Show, Augusta Civic Center.

NOFA/Mass Winter Conference, Worcester, Mass. OGS coordinator Alice Percy will present a workshop on hogs as well as staff a table.
Jan 20-22
NOFA-NY Winter Conference, Saratoga Springs, NY. Fedco Seeds founder CR Lawn will keynote the conference.
Fedco staffers will be attending the Northeast Organic Seed Conference 2017: “Owning Our Seed,” within the Winter Conference, as well as giving talks and staffing a table.

Feb 9-11
OEFFA (Ohio Ecological Food and Farming Association) 38th Annual Conference, Dayton, Ohio. The largest sustainable food and farm conference in Ohio is moving to a new venue with lots of space and expanding the scheduled offerings of intensives and workshops.

OGS Trials Coordinator John Paul Rietz will be staffing a table and presenting “Establishing and Maintaining an Organic Apple Orchard” on Saturday.

Feb 18-20
NOFA-VT Winter Conference, Burlington, Vermont. Three days of learning, inspiration, good food, and great conversation. This year’s conference theme is Beyond Borders: Our Role in the Global Food Movement. Although we often focus on local food, the issues we all face—health, environment, justice and community—are global and cross all borders. Keynote speakers are Dr. Fernando Funes Monzote (Cuba) and Dr. Vandana Shiva (India).

OGS coordinator Alice Percy will present “Starting Out with Organic Pastured Pigs” on Sunday.
