Bittersweet French cider apple. Finistère region of western Brittany, France, known as “the end of the world.” 

Mildly bitter and astringent. Considered a sweet or mild bittersweet for cider. (SG 1.053, acidity 0.25%, tannin 0.56%) Medium-sized, slightly ribbed, oval, oblong, yellowish-green with a pinkish-brownish blush and red striping. Resembles a small Yellow Bellflower. Ripens late September in western NY state. 

Performing well in our central Maine trial cider orchard. We got our original scionwood from the USDA ARS collection in Geneva, NY. Uncertain bloom time. Zone 4.
