stock details: 2½–5' bare-root trees
Malus spp.
Fall, russeted red skin, yellow-orange flesh.

Herefordshire, England, about 1826.

Highly flavored rich juicy spicy aromatic dessert apple. Recommended for fresh eating; also for cider and salads. Medium-sized, conic, deep red to scarlet, striped, and conspicuously dotted and mottled with russet. Yellow-orange flesh.

At the annual Stump Sprouts apple growers’ meeting many years ago, attendees were asked to name their favorite varieties. Ike Kerschner of North Star Orchard in Cochranville, PA, raved about Adams. Our original scionwood came from Ike’s own trees.

Moderately vigorous spreading tree. Blooms midseason. Zone 4.
