Item: 7517-A
stock details: well-rooted bare-root vines
Vitis spp.
Mid to late season.

The classic seeded grape of New England for 175 years.

Dark blue grapes in full clusters make great fresh eating, as well as juice, jelly, wine, and even grape pie. Berries ripen 2–3 weeks later than the popular (and hardier) Bluebell. Vines are hardy to around –17°.

Not typically planted in Maine for many decades due to its lower cold-tolerance, but winters are less severe these days and it might be on the rise as a consistent fruiter. For zones above 5, we still recommend Bluebell as a first choice. Zone 5.
