Glenn Spring Wheat - Organic

Triticum aestivum Annual grain. Moderately frost resistant. Hard red spring wheat released by North Dakota State in 2005 with medium-early maturity; grows well even outside of the typical hard red spring wheat regions. Since entering the wheat scene, Glenn has become a favorite of bakers for its superior milling and baking qualities. The seed is high in protein, and has a very high test weight. Moderately resistant to scab, leaf rust, and stem rust. The plants have good standability and straw strength. Glenn is easier to thresh once it is totally dried down.
