The cutest potato we offer! With boldly polka-dotted bicolor skins, they practically sell themselves at market. You’ll think the Easter Bunny left you a sweet pile of yellow-spotted pink eggs when you harvest!

Buttery and decadent with a creamy texture. High yields with up to 28 tubers per plant.

In our trials Pinto shows resistance to blight, drought and scab; the leafhopper didn’t bother it a bit. Bred by the University of Maine.

We have no suitable substitutions for this unusual variety: even if you accept substitutions, you will receive a refund instead of potatoes if this variety is out of stock.

Seed Potatoes Solanum tuberosum

One pound of seed will usually plant 5–8 row feet, depending on the variety; 10# will usually plant 50 row feet.

  • Early potatoes mature in 65-80 days.
  • Midseason potatoes mature in 80-90 days
  • Late potatoes mature in more than 90 days

Shipping

For orders placed by February 20, 2026, this item will ship on our regular shipping schedule, starting in late March with the warmest states and finishing by early May.
