Descendant of Bartlett. Aromatic sweet firm juicy flesh is buttery, less acidic than Bartlett and has very few grit cells. Yellow skin with the hint of blush and slight russeting. Ripens about 2 weeks earlier than Bartlett. Will store up to 3 months in the cellar.
Moderate vigor. Bred for improved resistance to fireblight. Plant a second variety for best pollination. Zone 5.
