Large pointy bright red partially freestone fruit with bluish bloom. Dark golden-orange flesh is firm and apricot flavored. One of the first of the hybrids to ripen in summer, about the same time or a bit earlier than Underwood and well before the bulk of the plum crop.
Requires at least one other variety for pollination. Zone 3/4.
