Morus alba × M. rubra

30x20' White County, IL, 1947. Sweet black fruit begins ripening in mid-July and continues for several weeks into late summer or longer. Aaron Parker of Edgewood Nursery in Falmouth, ME, had fruit on his tree into October! Self-fruitful. Z4/5.

(12" cuttings)

These are hardwood cuttings for rooting.  Chances of rooting are greatly increased with the use of a rooting hormone (such as Dip 'N' Grow) and bottom heat from a seed starting heat mat. We strongly advise using rooting hormone.
