4" Selected from a wild stand in Baraga County, Upper Peninsula, MI. Tiny bright blue sweet lowbush-type berries on a rugged Lilliputian plant. Striking fall foliage is orange and yellow. Z3.

Lowbush Blueberries Vaccinium corymbosum x angustifolium

Lowbush varieties prefer the same light acid soil as their highbush brethren and will cross-pollinate with all other blueberries. Can tolerate some dappled shade, yet fruit yields better in full sun. Space close together, about 1' apart, if you wish to establish a patch. Z3.

Shipping

Items from our perennial plants warehouse ordered on or before February 20 will ship from March through early May, starting with warmer areas and finishing in colder areas.
