Excellent all-purpose, old English-style aroma hops good for brewing ales and stouts. Hops connoisseur Dave Wills calls it “the king of aroma hops in the U.S. with its modest bittering value and sublime blend of flowers, fruit, earth and spice notes.” Alpha content 4–6.5%. Ripens late August to early September in central Maine.
