Very large deep purple stalk with a creamy white interior. Turns green when cooked. In our trials, these produce consistently chunkier spears compared with the green cultivars. Sweeter and less stringy than its green counterparts, so you can use more of the spear. Tender enough to eat raw in salads. Zone 4-8.‘Purple Passion’ Asparagus
