12–15" tall.
A selection of our native woodland phlox with loose clusters of starry white florets in late spring. Selected for its compactness, fragrance and refreshing color by Piet Oudolf, a garden designer famous for breaking from European gardening traditions and embracing holistic approaches.
Spreads by shallow rhizomes to create a light groundcover. Prefers moist rich woodland soil, but will tolerate drier garden soils if you mulch and water during dry spells. Full to partial shade. Zone 3.
