Cal.19 × Mara de Bois. France, 1995.
Giving Mara de Bois a run for its money as one of the tastiest everbearing strawberries. Medium-sized, somewhat conical, rounded fruit has superb flavor and a very long ripening season, even compared with other day neutrals. Shorter shelf life makes them better for local markets or home gardens. Not the highest-yielding variety, but its long picking season and great flavor make up for it.
Compact vigorous hardy plants. Well loved in France, Russia, Quebec and other cold regions for its ability to keep producing fruit well into the fall. Also performs well in greenhouses. Zone 3.
