30–34" tall. Mid to late season blooms.
Resembles a refined version of a German bearded iris with eye-catching 5½" vibrant violet blossoms, heavily ruffled upright standards and wide-spreading ruffled falls with an icy-lemon blaze. Long bloom time, extended vase life, unusual ruffled form and strong saturated color set this Siberian beauty apart from all the rest.
Bred by Dean Cole of Gorham, Maine. Cole worked with the well-known Siberian Iris hybridizer Currier McEwan who brought many Maine-bred irises to market. Introduced in 2006. Zone 3.
Maine Grown.
