The 3 ¼" x ⅞" blade is set at right angles to the shaft with beveled sharpened edges to separate weeds from their roots just below the soil surface. Minimizes soil disturbance and thus reduces likelihood of allowing more weed seeds to germinate. Fedco’s legendary Gene Frey calls it his favorite hand tool! Overall length 12".
