Prunus persica
Mid to late season.

New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station, Rutgers University, 2007.

Golden-yellow peach with about 80% red blush is large and firm with yellow freestone flesh. Sweet with low acid content (subacid) and non-melting, meaning it retains its firmness after ripening. Good for fresh eating and makes an excellent canning peach, too. Productive, ripening about 3 weeks after Redhaven.

Part of the long-running Rutgers peach breeding program, which has historically emphasized high fruit quality, bacterial spot resistance, productivity, and adaptation to humid Eastern climates. Resistant to bacterial spot. Late to bud, making it tolerant of late spring frosts. Self-fertile. Zone 5.
