Far-out flattened, bright red-blushed peach with firm white mildly sweet flesh. Low acid compared to other peaches. Ripens about 3 weeks before Contender and just after Saturn, another “UFO” or Peento peach.
Flat peaches originated in China over 2,000 years ago and are relatively new to the U.S. We’re becoming fans of these tasty conversation pieces. Good winter-injury tolerance and high yields. Self-fertile. Zone 5.
