Lavender flowers from August to September. Gold foliage in summer turns orange in autumn and red through winter and spring. Kaleidoscopic or psychedelic, depending on your personal bent. Upright form.

Shear every April for best bloom. Species native to the dry forests, heaths and bare grounds of Britain and Ireland. More recently naturalized in North America. Z4. (4" pots)
