Sweet astringent juicy flesh and soft tannin juice, best for blending with other midseason varieties. (SG 1.050, acidity 2.5g/L, tannin 2.3g/L) Medium-small conical ribbed pale green fruit dotted with russet and sometimes slightly blushed. Not as high in quality as other bittersweets but extremely popular in modern English cider orchards because of its reliability and productivity. Midseason bloomer. Z4.
