Traditional English perry pear. Not for fresh eating. Small yellow-green turbinate or roundish-obovate fruit is slightly less than 2" in diameter. Ripens late. Bittersharp with medium acidity and high tannin. Everything you want to produce the perfect perry.
The old saying is “Gather your Butts one year, mill them the next and drink the year after.” You pick them in the late fall this year, press them in January and drink the perry the year after that. Best blended with other perry pears. Z4.
