Large crops of Morello-type fruit are excellent for eating, jams, jellies, pies, dark red juice and wine. Can be very hardy and produce good-quality fruit, but our results in Zone 3 have been inconsistent. Naturally dwarf tree, tolerant of a wide range of soils, although prefers light fertile soils.
