‘Dart’s Dash’ Rose

Rosa rugosa 4-5' x same. R. rugosa hybrid, parentage unknown. Darthuis Nursery, Netherlands, date unknown.

Stunning semi-double very large 3–4" magenta flowers with a sweet lemony scent. Blooms all summer and into fall making a colorful hedge or border.

Somewhat similar to Hansa but more compact with an extended bloom time. Terrific fall display of beautiful large orange-red hips that soften after a few light frosts. Petals and hips are both edible and medicinal.

Bright green disease-resistant foliage turns orange in the fall. Full sun to part shade. Z2. (9-18" bare-root plants)
