Upright rust-colored stems grow bright yellow-green foliage as they return to life in April and May. Tiny white buds emerge mid-July and open to ruby flowers in August. Blooms into September and eventually foliage turns to bronze late fall through winter.

Plant about 18" apart each way and let it spread. Lower the pH if necessary, but it does not tolerate wet spots like cranberries and blueberries.
