Very old heirloom cultivar. Cherry pink buds fade to light pink before opening to single white 1" flowers in midspring. Small ½" persistent golden fruits hang on the tree well into spring for returning birds to fill their hungry bellies. Fruit color improves with frost.
Densely rounded tree has an elegant horizontal spread. Green foliage turns bright gold in fall. Excellent scab resistance. Z4. Maine Grown. (Semi-dwarf: 2½-5' bare-root trees)
